This fun-loving hostel caters to a wide variety of world travellers.

Located in the heart of Waikiki and only steps away from the beach, the Polynesian Hostel offers convenient access to the finest beaches, parks, tennis courts, banks, restaurants, nightlife, etc. They are also the hostel closest to the Honolulu Zoo, the Aquarium, Diamond Head Crater and many other local attractions.

The location of the Polynesian Beach Club Hostel is the envy of finer hotels in Waikiki - the Polynesian Hostel is just half a block from Kapiolani Park and the Honolulu Zoo and one street from Kuhio Beach..... Fanciful murals brighten up the stairwells and a patio downstairs has hammocks for napping, a pay phone, coin-operated laundry and stacks of beach toys. The common room upstairs has a TV and VCR. The friendly staff works hard to match you with roommates you'll like and activities you'll enjoy. Bigger hostels might offer more to do, but for a quiet bed between stints at the beach, it's hard to find a better place than the Polynesian Beach Club Hostel.

This was the best hostel ever!!! The staff are amazing! Friendly, nice, helpful! The people who stayed here are also awesome. Thx for all the fun tours! I'm definitely coming back again.

The Pacific Ohana

The Pacific Ohana

1 out of 5 stars

2552 Lemon Rd Ofc
Honolulu, HI 96815
(808) 921-8111

This place is absolutely filthy. The beds are filled with bedbugs and lice and the rooms are crawling with roaches and other bugs. Also, they will screw you with their no-refund policy, so after that cash is in their hand (don't even think of paying with a credit card unless you want to pay an additional 5% for that privilege), kiss it goodbye. Do yourself a favor and stay next door at the Waikiki Beachside Hostel. Much nicer with no bugs for the same price.

Don't stay here except in the most dire circumstances.  This place has a serious cockroach problem.  The bathroom was literally crawling with roaches - no matter where I looked there were at least a couple of roaches in my field of vision.  The rooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years.  Most rooms have no fans or air conditioning (even though they are supposed to).  To top it all off, it isn't even much of a bargain.

worst place ever !! fully loaded with bed bugs roachs. this place is not a place i would choose to stay at! this place is really dirty, the rooms are filled with bed bugs nd roaches and when you bring it to they attention they wont do anything about it.... when you book a room online they wont tell you about the roach problem or that your room just might be infested with bedbugs!!! the staff here dont get payed, there payment is a bed.... some of them got a heart and when you tell them that you are getting bite from bedbugs, they will try and help you out the best that they can. now as for the owner shes a VERY,VERY,VERY MONEY HUNGRY PERSON!!! she had people staying here for a very long time...., and shell find any reason to jack up the rates!!! when i say jack up the rates i mean shes charging as high as a 4-5 star hotel... and yet this place aint even worth it!!!! the plumbing is all screwed up, and she wont fix it., but she re rents out the room nd she knows that either the showers backed up or the pipes are leaking!!!!

TRUST ME WHEN I SAY IF YOU COMING HERE FOR VACATION STAY AWAY FROM PACIFIC OHANA HOSTEL this place will make you think different about hawaii!!!!! I KNOW i used to stay there in one of there rooms... it aint worth it!!!

Absolutely Disgusting. This place is absolutely filthy. It is infested with roaches, bedbugs, and lice, as well as beetles and probably others we couldn't see because we didn't stay there for longer than a few hours before we gave up trying to kill them all and left. They refused to issue us a refund, too, even though we paid for three nights and didn't even make it through one. DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
